When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc and Stripe, a provider of online e-commerce platforms that enable us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored securely through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and general Shopify application, and is protected by a firewall.

Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify and Stripe stores your credit card data, which is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Your purchase transaction data is only stored as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. Upon completion, your purchase transaction information will be deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands, acquirers, card issuers, merchants, and solution providers.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
